Kasey Ashcraft MA, PLPC, LPC, NCC
We often have circumstances that keep us from being who we truly are. Perhaps trauma or abuse is a factor. Perhaps anxiety and/or depression keep us from seeking change. Even struggling to connect with loved ones can keep us from being our true selves. Kasey Ashcraft MA, CIT, LPC, NCC strongly believes that everyone has the ability to change and is passionate to help clients find that change within themselves through the counseling process.
Kasey practices from an attachment-based theory using emotion focused therapy. She is passionate about working with individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Her goal is for clients to feel understood and valued in the counseling setting.
Kasey has her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from MidAmerica Nazarene University. She also has her Master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from MidAmerica. Kasey has experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma and abuse. She also has experience in co-facilitating groups for those struggling with eating disorders. Her training includes having completed a Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and grief-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (GF-CBT).
