Candice is a compassionate counselor who creates a warm and safe environment for you to be heard and express yourself without judgement. She finds great joy in helping others navigate their journey by instilling hope and discovering their own truth.
Counseling Approach
As a trauma competent counselor, Candice values each person’s strengths and approaches therapy from a holistic view. Her therapeutic style is person centered and strengths-based, where she joins with you in discovering the best parts of you to change the parts that are distressful for you. She finds the value in helping her clients reduce stress, learn new ways of coping and cultivating trust and a safe place to resolve any internal conflict. She is passionate about providing a supportive environment that empowers people to talk through what is bothering them without judgement and to be the best they can be. Whether it is transforming negative self-talk into empowering self-talk or creating a meaningful life and interactions with others. Candice enjoys partnering with her clients to cultivate engaging and meaningful experiences that are evident in self-acceptance and self-love.
She is passionate about helping others find their peace and balance when struggling with anxiety, depression or a traumatic event.
Education and Trainings
Candice received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Missouri Western State University. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Adams State University.
