Jill Fields, Counseling Intern
Trauma Informed Counselor in Training
When life feels challenging, overwhelming or chaotic, you may not know where to begin. This may leave us questioning our situation, relationships, path, or even how we can find the way to healing. Jill is passionate about working with young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief, loss and relationship challenges. She is equipped to help you on your wellness journey, partnering with you to find the root cause of the problem, and process ways to feel better and overcome those challenges. Jill creates a safe and validating environment, from a trauma lens, to help establish goals for learning new skills, communication skills and view of self to develop self-confidence and peace.
Jill approaches the counseling relationship with warmth and safety, from a person-centered approach, focusing on trauma competent practice and the psychodynamic process. She partners with her clients, developing treatment goals, uncovering strengths and resources, and supporting her clients as they navigate change and healing.
