Life is hard and you just need someone you can turn to during your time of stress. You may feel overwhelmed and alone, or experiencing anxiety or depressive symptoms. You may simply want someone to hear you, connect with you, believe in you and support you while you explore your true self to find balance and peace. As a parent, you may be concerned about what your child or teen is going through, and need additional support to help your child behave better and feel better. Kaitlyn is passionate about helping you discover your healing in the midst of the struggle, while being heard and supported.
Kaitlyn is a warm and enthusiastic counselor, who provides a safe and supporting environment for you to unburden yourself. With her genuine approach, her clients discover new ways of communicating their needs, improving their self-esteem and learning to care for themselves. She enjoys providing a playful environment to help her clients learn new ways of coping and learning ways to manage behaviors and how to enjoy experiences from a holistic view.

Kaitlyn establishes a strong rapport with her clients, whether children, families or adults, from a trauma competent, person-centered approach. She uses evidenced-based approaches to help you get to the root of what the challenge is and learn new ways to cope and manage.
She has an integrated and collaborative approach to her therapy practice, focusing on continually supporting clients as they work toward their goals. Her passion is seeing both individuals and families work through and go on to thrive in every aspect of their lives. She believes people long to be whole, not only psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually, but relationally as well.
Education, Professional Memberships and Trainings
Kaitlyn earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Westminster College, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Avila University. She is currently pursuing certification in Play Therapy fro Mid-America Nazarene University.
