Having someone to walk alongside you through suffering, can undo the loneliness you may be feeling, ultimately leading to positive change and opportunity. Laura believes connection can change the world and is driven by walking alongside those who seek support for positive change. Laura provides a safe, supportive environment to foster deep connection and promote self-exploration and stimulate positive change.
Laura enjoys supporting individuals in the midst of suffering find their strength for hope and change. She is especially passionate about supporting perinatal mothers who may be feeling overwhelmed, helpless, and struggling to understand why their relationships are difficult to maintain. Laura utilizes a client-centered, experiential approach to guide her clients to uncover new information, induce awareness, and stimulate change.
Education and Training
Laura earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University with an emphasis in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling and Spiritual Integration.
Laura is supervised by Teresa Paterson Bartch, LPC, LCPC, RPT-S.
