Stephanie provides a warm, hopeful environment for you to process your current life stressors. She partners with you to normalize your experience and discover a rejuvenated perspective through a holistic approach that empowers you to take control over your life. She believes people are not defined by the difficult times they endure, and are capable of finding their true potential through connecting with their values and experiences.

Stephanie prioritizes creating a non-judgmental environment for her clients to feel safe as they share their stories. She utilizes a holistic, person-centered approach that is tailored to the individual needs of her clients. She will often incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She is also passionate about advocating for her clients both inside and outside of the therapy room. Stephanie has extensive experience with teens, adults, and families. She approaches therapy from a family systems lens that allows her to incorporate the family along with individual work if it is needed. Stephanie works with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, trauma, and health concerns.
Education and Training
Stephanie received her Bachelor or Science in Psychology with a Minor in Women’s Gender Studies from The University of Kansas. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from Avila University.
