Throughout life, we face many challenges and experiences that can make us question ourselves and our ability to cope. You may be experiencing constant worry and stress or feeling as if you are unable to move past a traumatic or overwhelming experience. You may feel unheard and misunderstood by others around you, hearing messages such as “Just get over it.”
Your experience is real and a sign that it is time for change and getting the support you deserve to heal and improve your life. Whether you face anxiety, trauma, or depression, Molly is here to help you overcome whatever challenges you are facing in your own unique way. She will help you get out of bed in the morning and feel joy in your life and relationships again.
Molly is a counseling intern at our Johnson County office, providing affordable counseling to children, tweens/teens, and adults. She helps clients explore what motivates and guides them to make the changes they desperately want, helping them find their inner skills and strengths to overcome their challenges. Some of her counseling areas of focus are anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues, as well as supporting individuals on the autism spectrum.
Therapeutic Approach
Molly meets her clients with unconditional kindness and honors the unique brightness, energy, and experiences that each person brings into the counseling room. She uses a person-centered, attachment-focused approach and integrates play-based techniques into her work. Her approach focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients, ensuring safety and comfort, and allowing clients to truly be themselves. Additionally, she works to provide each of her clients with an individualized counseling experience, including important people or family members in the process or adapting techniques to include elements familiar to the client.
