Trauma Informed

Life causes pain, or invisible battles, that everyone encounters. You may be feeling like you are walking through this alone, feel unseen, or even that your story doesn’t deserve to have understanding.  Your pain disconnects you from your identify, peace and beliefs. Emotional and physical struggles are connected and oftentimes create shame, doubt and fear. I help clients connect their pain to their story and navigate their path to healing.

Anna works with individuals of all ages with the following challenges:

  • Trauma
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • self-worth and self-esteem issues
  • family dynamics
  • chronic pain

Therapeutic Approach

Anna’s therapeutic approach provides warmth with acceptance and empathy, where clients not only begin to heal, but also learn to step into their authentic selves. She compassionately guides clients to uncover the root of their pain while using creativity, reflection, and compassion to support lasting healing. She uses evidence based trauma-informed, attachment-based approaches while weaving in creative expression and identity work. When it seems helpful, and requested by the client, she integrates family support or faith integration, always based on what feels most supportive for the client.

Anna received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Avila University.
