Therapeutic Approach
Nicolette Rogers is one of our excellent clinicians who approaches therapy with adolescents and adults with compassion and care from a client centered orientation. She pays close attention to the hidden factors that may be influencing your challenges. Her honesty and directness, partnered with this holistic, integrative approach for trauma therapy, supports the whole person empowering lasting change, while learning the coping skills that work best for each client. She is passionate about holding space for each client, meeting them right where they are, whether you are needing support for anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief or other life stressors. She utilizes a Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to build resiliency and self-care, while achieving treatment goals. Nicolette is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), pursuing certification.
Throughout your therapy journey with Nicolette, you will uncover all of the working parts of your experiences, and learn ways to manage your emotions and behaviors that best reflect you.  She is your partner in self-reflection on your trauma therapy journey, understanding how irrational thoughts and beliefs or fears influence your view of your world, and how to find the change you want. Change starts with you, and Nicolette is ready to meet you and join you on your journey.
Education & Training
Nicolette earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Missouri Western State University, and a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Nebraska in Omaha with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health. She is EMDR Trained, currently pursuing certification in EMDR Therapy.
