Our Affordable Counseling Interns

It is natural to wonder if you would be making a good decision choosing a therapist who still working through their training in counseling. This is a great opportunity to receive low cost therapy from a high quality supervision process with one of our affordable counseling interns.  Our profession values practicum and internship opportunities to practice what is learned in the graduate program. Graduate Counseling, Social Work, and Psychology programs are rigorous and often take at least three years to complete. And this training is completed after a Bachelor’s Degree. Many of our Counseling Interns bring work and life experience; some may even begin their second career.

You grow as our Counseling Interns grow. When you choose one of our Counseling Interns, you have lower out-of-pocket costs, whether you are seeking therapy for your children, family, marriage, or relationship, including some amazing group opportunities.

Our counseling interns are at the top of their class; we select interns who already demonstrate clinical professionalism and sound ethical practice. Each is paired with a supervisor, an expertly trained clinical professional who meets with them weekly in a safe and confidential space to provide oversight with your treatment plan and outcomes and ensure you receive the best level of care/effective services. You can rest assured that your journey here at Embark is handled with the greatest care and intentionality.

When possible, we like to have a Counseling Intern for affordable counseling at each one of our locations, including providing guidance and experience with telehealth. If you have any questions or feedback about your experience with your counseling intern, we would love to hear about it.
