This training is for therapists who have already completed an introductory training in Sand Tray Therapy. In this experiential Sand Tray training, we will provide opportunities to understand the neurobiology effects of Sand Tray, and how it can be an effective assessment tool. Techniques and application of clinical theory in this training will support the Play Therapist as they uncover deeper meaning of the client’s traumatic experiences and attachment issues, while allowing for the healing process to occur. Discussion of Sand Tray cases and advanced interpretation skills help the Play Therapist understand their client’s worldview and provide a healing space through the art of Sand Tray.
