Embark is an employee community of professionals working together to empower families to enhance the mental wellbeing of kids, adults, families, couples AND our community. We are a fun, passionate, and skilled dynamic group of professionals empowering the individuals and families of Greater Kansas City to find lasting change through client-centered, holistic and trauma-informed evidence based approaches. ECS has four office locations, three in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area (Leawood, Lee’s Summit and the Northland), and one in St. Joseph, MO. It is possible to work at multiple locations, and telehealth!

Onboarding Process

Interview

We are always looking for amazing professionals to join our team. As a family systems practice, we employ clinicians who work with every member of the family, and who are dedicated to evidence-based trauma informed approaches. We hire based on need and if the candidate is an excellent fit for for the mission, vision and values of our practice.

If your resume or CV has the skills, education and training identified that is necessary for providing clinical services, our owner will reach out to you to initiate a discovery call. From this discovery call, an interview is scheduled with our leadership team!

During this interview, we approach it from a collaborative approach, where you get to know us, our culture and our practice, just as much as we get to know you. You can ask anything you are curious about!

Assessment

Our assessment phase of the hiring process includes a background check, license verification, and contacting references. This process is standard for everyone.

Feeback

No matter the outcome of the interview and assessment phase, we will provide you with a decision and feedback, as we can all learn from experiences. We value you during this process, and will likely also ask you some very important questions for feedback about us and our process.

Decision

Just like with the assessment phase, we will get back to you with our final decision, and explaining the components of the employment agreement, if it is a yes!
