Continuing Education
As mental health professionals, we continuously need to sharpen our knowledge and skills. CEs are important for licensure renewals, certification renewals, and continuing education keeps us relevant and up to date with the latest in research and best practice.
We are pleased to offer various continuing education trainings for Play Therapy and Advanced EMDR Workshops. We also offer rich Play Therapy Supervision and EMDR Consultation to support your continued professional growth and expertise. Our online Play Therapy trainings meet the Association for Play Therapy’s definition of a live webinar (post-test required).
Each of our professional trainers not only enjoy providing you with up to date and relevant content based on the latest research, but they also have a strong passion for supporting you on your professional development journey with supervision and consultation.
Embark Counseling Services, LLC is an Approved Provider for The Association for Play Therapy (APT) – Provider 22-670 and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) International Association – EMDRIA #21029.
Embark Counseling Services, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7305. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Embark Counseling Services, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Embark Counseling Services, LLC, Provider #1910, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Embark Counseling Services, LLC maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 02/05/2024-02/05/2025.

Below, you will find our Play Therapy Trainings and EMDR Advanced Workshops that are offered in person or by live webinar. Some of these trainings are offered multiple times a year, so you will be able to find a time that works for you!
Also, be sure to sign up for our email list, which is a great way to be notified of when a training is added to our calendar! We typically send out quarterly emails with upcoming trainings.
For the time being, if you are interested in registering for any of the below trainings, please email trainings@embark-counseling.com to register, and pay the fee via Venmo (@embarkcounseling14), or we can send an invoice to you to be paid prior to the training.
