Annie is a warm, welcoming therapist who believes every person deserves a space that feels their own. She works to support clients in reflecting on their emotions, values, beliefs, and goals in an open and authentic way. Annie is passionate about working with adults and couples who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected during times of change. Many clients seek her support while navigating life transitions such as college, career changes, marriage, pregnancy and parenthood, divorce, health concerns, or shifts in identity and purpose. Others come to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, or reconnect within their relationships.

Annie values learning alongside her clients and appreciates new perspectives and complex ideas. She enjoys values-based work that helps clients align their actions with what matters most to them. Witnessing individuals and couples reconnect with themselves or one another and rediscover their spark is one of the most meaningful aspects of her work.

Annie offers individual and relational therapy for concerns including relationship stress, life transitions, anxiety, grief, and adjustment to change. She strives to create a supportive space that fosters growth, clarity, and connection.

Therapeutic Approach

Annie’s therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and utilizing person-centered and strengths-based frameworks. She works to help clients better understand their emotional experiences and relational patterns while developing greater flexibility in how they respond to thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Annie also supports clients in examining the stories they hold about themselves and their relationships, identifying strengths and values that may have been overlooked, and creating space for new, more empowering narratives. Throughout the process, she emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, believing that meaningful change occurs when clients feel deeply understood and supported, while also building on what is already working.

Annie graduated from Kansas State University, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science and a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Science with an emphasis in Couple and Family Therapy. Annie is clinically supervised by Jessica Schroeder, LCMFT, LMFT.
