You may be seeking support and validation in order to begin your journey towards processing and healing. Cassidi specializes in eating disorders, trauma, anxiety and depression for teens, adults and counseling for First Responders.

Therapeutic Approach

Cassidi establishes a strong rapport with her clients, and comes from a trauma competent, humanistic perspective.  She uses evidenced-based approaches such as TF-CBT and CBT to help clients find new ways to cope and manage by exploring complex thoughts, feelings and resulting behaviors, including disordered eating. She provides counseling for first responders and their families.She has an integrated and collaborative approach to her therapy practice, focusing on continually supporting clients as they work toward their goals. Cassidi believes that all people deserve to feel heard and validated, which is reflected in her priority to establish a safe and empathetic therapeutic environment. 

Cassidi has completed the rigorous certification process for the Certified First Responder Associate. This training equips her to support first responders’ unique needs, including confidentiality and trust. Cassidi’s passion is working with first responders as they process and navigate the complexities that come with their career. She understands the complexity of their experiences, in addition to the culture this career provides. One of Cassidi’s goals as a therapist is to destigmatize mental health and counseling in the first responder career field.

Cassidi also provides trauma competent therapy for those who struggle with eating disorders, including body image issues.  Cassidi is currently pursuing the requirements for Certification Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).

Education & Training

Cassidi earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Pre-Law, and Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Psychological Assessment from Avila University in 2019. Cassidi has received specialized training as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider.
