If you feel lost and disheartened by things going on in your life, you may need someone to provide compassionate support and direction as you navigate and make sense of your experience. All people, especially you, deserve unconditional compassion and a space where you can feel most yourself and gain an honest and fresh perspective.
Foster is an empathetic ear for those who wish to be heard and understood. She helps people who long to be the best version of themselves but feel stuck by obstacles, both internally and in the environment and systems in which they live. She is dedicated to empowering clients to envision and work toward a future that aligns with who they are and their personal goals.
Therapeutic Approach
Foster approaches therapy from a person-centered and trauma-informed, integrating neurobiology with Solution-Focused and Strength-based approaches. She often utilizes interventions and strategies from CBT. Foster is intention in creating a warm and comfortable space for clients to trust the process and grow and heal from life’s hard things. She enjoys working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, interpersonal difficulties and neurodiversity.
Education & Training
Foster completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University, and is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University.
She is supervised by Sally Frede, LCSW, CCLS, RPT-Sâ„¢
