It can be difficult to know where to start to find help and support for your child, teen and family. Maybe your child or teen is having difficulty regulating their emotions, exhibiting difficult behaviors, or just having trouble navigating the daily expectations of school, friends and home. Perhaps your teen is struggling with social demands, academic performance, or compliance at school or home. It is not uncommon for children and teens to need to process their challenges to learn new ways of managing their feelings and new ways to communicate their needs and feelings. Kaily provides child and teen counseling to help each child, tween, teens and their parents discover solutions that unlock their strengths that promote emotional intelligence, healing and building stronger relationships. Through the therapeutic process, Kaily helps children and teens better understand their experiences and work through what is troubling them.
Therapeutic Approach
By using the therapeutic powers of play from a family systems lens, Kaily is passionate about providing individualized child and teen counseling for each client while providing practical solutions to restore emotional stability for every child, tween or teen that she works with. She works with parents every step of the way to guide them in supporting their child’s mental and emotional wellness. As a trauma competent child and family counselor, Kaily works with children and teens, while partnering with their parents, helping them overcome anxiety, depression, parent-child relationship challenges, divorce, grief, life transitions and academic concerns. She approaches therapy from a person-centered, family systems lens and integrates other interventions to help your child or teen master their goals.
