Life’s storms, doubts, worries and challenges often feel overwhelming, exhausting, scary, isolating and leave individuals not knowing what they need or what to do, or even where to go from here. You or your child may need support in uncovering what is in the way, holding you back or making things confusing for you. Katelynn Zeluf is warm, kind and supportive, and skilled at providing the right environment that allows each client to fully explore themselves and feel empowered in the process. Katelynn’s clients often experience more acceptance of themselves and peace in their lives throughout the therapeutic process.

Katelynn has a passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults, perinatal and postnatal women, and parents to support them living a more fulfilling and sustainable life. She specializes in helping children and teens overcome trauma and allow the healing to provide a foundation for a fulfilled adulthood.  She provides the therapeutic space to help each client manage and regulate their emotions, build skills and modify thought patterns and resulting behaviors. She provides support for parents to understand what their child or teen is going through, internally and the how and why behind their internalization or externalization of symptoms. Other areas that Katelynn provides counseling includes helping children and teens work through grief and loss, ADHD, Autism, attachment issues, trauma, separation anxiety, social anxiety, and depression. She works with adults who experience grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal and postnatal anxiety and depression. She understands the importance of supporting the entire family system, including that each client and family are unique, which includes the important part of building a trusting therapeutic relationship with consistency.

Katelynn received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She is pursuing her Play Therapy Certification. Katelyn is clinically supervised by Julia Leuchtefeld, LPC, RPT™.
