It feels impossible to carry the weight of your struggles alone. You may feel lost on how to navigate the difficult emotions that come from turmoil or challenges you face in life. Rachel is a warm and accepting therapist that empowers her clients to better understand themselves and discover their natural strengths to build healthier patterns for long term healing. Rachel cultivates a safe space for her clients to feel understood and supported during their therapeutic journey. She believes that kindness and understanding lay the groundwork for promoting positive change within ones life and relationships. Rachel is particularly passionate working with individuals, couples, or families that are a part of the neurodivergent community.

Therapeutic Approach

Rachel is a licensed marriage and family therapist and primarily works with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating a variety of concerns such as ADHD, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. Rachel works from a family system’s, humanistic theoretical orientation which allows her to understand complex patterns that contribute to dysfunction in systems and families. In addition to her theoretical orientation, she incorporates evidenced based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and structural family therapy. Rachel has a unique and integrative therapeutic approach that creates opportunities for clients to feel both supported and challenged, leading to authentic growth.
